fuckyeahtattoos: I got this around May of 2012. It’s Matilda, by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake. I’ve always admired the strength, sensibility, and smarts that Matilda had. I chose this particular pose of her, and not one with her reading books, because I wanted a portrayal of her being what he is: a child. And this was the happiest illustration of her that I could find. It’s when she’s super excited and skipping next to Ms. Honey as she’s about to go to Ms. Honey’s cottage.
